Sharon Tate for Stone Tulips, Los Angeles

This past summer marked the 50th anniversary of the Manson murders, as well as the release of the new Tarantino film—Once Upon A Time In Hollywood—which centered around the horrible tragedy that occurred that August evening on Cielo Drive.

I wrote an article for the Los Angeles-based brand Stone Tulips on Sharon Tate, celebrating a life which was so tragically cut short. Let other pens dwell on the madness behind the murders—I chose to focus on Sharon’s legacy as a symbol of the 1960’s, a style icon, and artists’ muse. She was, as her close friend Michelle Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas described her, “a euphoric, radiant soul”. Gone too soon.

This one is for you, Sharon.
